Prepare for a dose of cuteness overload as Cheese and Crackers interact and play together.

A VIDEO of the Centre for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife’s newest member, a bushbaby, has captured many hearts.

CROW introduced Crackers on its Facebook Page last week, and almost 600 people, to date, have reacted with love to the cute video, which has more than 13 000 views.

The centre said this little cutie was found by a kind soul in Seaward Estate, Ballito, on Saturday, November 11, on the side of the road.

“Currently, he is under the dedicated care of our primate nurse, Elizna.”

Upon arrival, CROW said the bushbaby tipped the scales at a mere 45 grams and was approximately one-week old.

“Elizna, our wonderful nurse, named him Crackers because, well, he arrived in a crackers box! Crackers will be part of our family for the next year, receiving the love and care he needs before being released back into the wild where he belongs,” said CROW.

The centre also introduced another new member to their bushbaby family on Wednesday, November 22, and his name is Cheese.

“Weighing in at a precious 50 grams, Cheese is already stealing the spotlight with his playful antics. Our dedicated nurse, Elizna, has been taking excellent care of him, and we can’t wait for you to witness the charming dynamics between Cheese and Crackers.

“These two are turning our wildlife haven into a lively playground of adorable moments of our family for the next year, who are receiving the love and care they need before being released back into the wild where they belong,” said CROW.
