Two men fatally shot in Durban CBD

On Wednesday evening, two men were found deceased in the Durban CBD after each sustaining multiple gunshot wounds.

THIS evening, paramedics and police responded to the scene of a shooting incident where two men were fatally shot and left lifeless next to each another on Hunter Street in the Durban CBD.

According to ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson, the incident occurred just after 19:00 on Wednesday evening. “ALS Paramedics received numerous calls of a shooting incident which had occurred on Hunter Street between Stanger Street and Prince Alfred Street in the Durban CBD area. On arrival, paramedics found that the SAPS had closed off the roadway and were escorted to two men, one believed to be in his twenties and one believed to be in his thirties, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds,” said Jamieson.

Unfortunately, both men showed no signs of life and were declared deceased on the scene.

“At this stage, events leading up to the shooting are unknown, however, all necessary role-players are in attendance and will be investigating further,” he concluded.
