“This year’s event exceeded my expectations. It attracted people from Lesotho, Swaziland, Botswana, Zimbabwe and all over South Africa. During the competition, people showcased their skills in different challenges, such as Hi-Lo, Step, Kick, Kata-Step and Functional Training. We also launched two new fitness programs: CLASS which is a combination of boxing and Step; and HISLIDA, a combination of Hi-Lo and Step,” he said.

“The event was world-class. It was well-planned from start to finish. We had a chance to interact with others who enjoy fitness. It’s always nice to be challenged to take on a healthy lifestyle. By promoting health and fitness, you encourage people to be more productive, and this contributes to the economy,” said Mkhize.

Confidence Koloba, Shelly Mangate and Lorato Fabiola from Bloemfontein soak up the atmosphere on the sidelines.
