Man shot on N2 near Cato Manor
The man was taken to a Durban hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
A MAN (35) was fatally shot on Friday, May 26 while travelling along the N2 Highway on the southbound carriageway.
SAPS spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda confirmed that Cato Manor police are investigating charges of murder and robbery following the incident.
“It is alleged that a man was robbed and shot by unknown suspects. He was dropped off on the off-ramp and was transported to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries,” said Netshiunda.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting incident are unclear.
