Trail of Lights Coming Soon…

The popular Trail of Lights Festival returns to Durban Botanic Gardens, and this year’s theme is ‘joy’. Organisers are planning to go bigger, better and brighter with a longer trail and new lighting displays along the way, as well as the return of some fan favourites. Among them is KZN’s brightest Christmas tree which will return to the garden.  There will also be a special Secret Garden of Lights hidden within the trail and new horticultural displays. Visitors to the festival can also earmark special Paws and Claus nights on December 4 and 11 when the family fur-kids will be allowed in. Dogs-only ticket sales from the pet attendance will support non-profit organisation Feeding the Furballs. The Trail of Lights also features two Food Gardens; a Festive Market with vendors showcasing gifts and Christmas fare; live entertainment; magical festive characters; Santa’s grotto, where visitors can take a photo with Santa, and the charity-driven Santa’s workshop. Prebooked tickets are R80 for 18:00 entry, R75 for 19:00 entry and R70 for 20:00 entry. Tickets at the door are R100, subject to availability. Children aged two years old enter for free. Paws and Claus tickets cost R30 per pet when booked with a full-paying adult ticket. Tickets are available via Webtickets. For more information, visit the website: https://trailoflights.co.za
