Durban Botanic Garden’s artwork on display for upcoming guided walk

The guided walk is on Saturday, October 29 and will start and end at the Visitors’ Complex.

WHAT do the names Standing Parker 1, Earth Mother and Consider Us all have in common?

The answer: They are all artworks that reside in the Durban Botanic Gardens.

To give Durban residents the chance to explore the artwork displayed at Durban Botanic Gardens with a guided walk through the gardens, a walk will take place on Saturday, October 29 from 09:30 to 11:00 and will allow attendees to view and learn about these and other artistic creations that form part of the landscape of the gardens.

This outing, starting and ending at the Visitors’ Complex, will be led by the volunteer environmental education guide at the gardens, Christine Sole.

­­­­The entrance to Durban Botanic Gardens is on John Zikhali Road (formerly Sydenham Road) where parking is available.

The fee for the walk is R60 per person, R40 for pensioners and students, and children under 12 years are given free entry.
