AFTER sell-out international tours, everyone’s favourite family – Peppa, George, Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig – are returning to South Africa with a splash in a brand-new live show – Peppa Pig’s Perfect Day presented by Ackermans in association with HOT102.7FM, in Johannesburg, and KFM in Cape Town.
Come join Peppa and George on a roller-coaster adventure with Peppa’s special friends Rebecca Rabbit and Candy Cat – for the first time ever in South Africa!
Peppa Pig’s Perfect Day opens in Johannesburg at Emperor’s Palace from March 24 to April 10, 2023. The show then visits the Cape Town International Convention Centre from April 14 to April 16, 2023 before heading to Suncoast in Durban from April 21 to April 23, 2023. “Peppa Pig Live broke box-office records on her last visit to South Africa, so we are thrilled to be returning in 2023 with a brand-new adventure for all her young fans in Peppa Pig’s Perfect Day,” says Elizma Badenhorst, the show’s resident creative director. “Peppa Pig Live is akin to a concert experience for the little ones. The excitement as Peppa takes to the stage is mind-blowing and comes with an enormous responsibility for the creative team.”
Mark Baker, co-creator, writer and director of the entertainment phenomenon, agrees. “Musical numbers keep the show moving along at a fantastic pace, and there are references to so many of the original episode stories, making it all familiar to the children in the audience, who have probably seen our animated episodes many times!”

Badenhorst adds, “With such ardent fans, an incredible amount of detail goes into recreating the characters, props and backgrounds from the TV series.
