Durban Girls’ College introduces 2025 leadership

Durban Girls' College is elated to unveils its student leadership for the coming year. The girls have a mammoth task at hand, to steer the school into prsperity.

Leadership team at Durban Girls’ College is ready to embrace the start of 2025 and what lays ahead. Committees and portfolios have selected girls worthy of the course. Their leadership attributes have earned them their new colours.

DGC’s Kelley Litkie said, “Durban Girls’ College is thrilled to announce our leadership team for 2025! We are incredibly proud of these remarkable young women who have been chosen to guide us forward. They embody the DGC values of integrity, courage, agility, respect, and empathy – and with the full support of pupils and staff, they will lead by example, fostering an environment of empowerment and inclusivity.
As we embark on another chapter, we are confident they will steer the Galleon successfully on her journey towards 148 years. Nisi Dominus Frustra – Godspeed the Galleon safely on her way.”

The 2025 Head Girl chain was bestowed upon Tatum Govender, who serves in Academics and Music committees.  She will be deputised by Khanyi Brauns, Frances Snaith, Michelle Chitundu, Mawande and Zungu, Milla.

The newly appointed leadership will lead in portfolios of culture, sport, service, music, transformation & inclusion and  Christian fellowship.
