Say ‘I do’ to iconic Durban bridal fair

East Meets West Bridal Fair in The Pavilion this October is set to dazzle any brides- or grooms-to-be and their families and friends. Plus, visitors can enter a fabulous competition and win great prizes.

WAIT for it… The comprehensive fifth annual East Meets West Bridal Fair is returning to Durban’s Pavilion Shopping Centre from Friday, October 25, until Sunday, October 27. Say ‘I do’ to all that the fair has to offer.

What’s mindblowing is that it is held throughout the centre, and it boasts myriad wedding-themed events, activations, exhibitions and displays designed to help couples and their families plan for their big day. The fair caters to the multi-cultural complexity of Durban, with its various faiths and cultural traditions. Over 30 exhibitors will be spread throughout The Pavilion showcasing everything from décor ideas to wedding cakes; champagne to suits; florists to henna; make-up to videography; bridal dresses to event planners; and honeymoon destinations to wedding jewellery.

Among the participants who have contributed towards the prize are: a wedding ring from Premjee’s Jewellers; a photography package, including video design, from Jon Ivins Photography; a midweek two-night getaway to Cathedral Peak from One Stop Tours; hair products and vouchers from Perfect 10; wedding dress hire from Wedding Whispers; a wedding crown and mugs from Queen of Crowns; a 100-page hardcover photobook from Burble; and an antenuptial contract from KL Attorneys.

The amazing Cirk band will be performing shows and conducting workshops throughout the weekend. Based in Johannesburg, and making a rare trip to Durban, Cirk is a team of skilled performing artists with an extensive repertoire of specialty aerial and ground acts.
