Berea SAPS reservist bags prestigious award

Hours of dedication and hard work have earned one police reservist a sterling recognition. He bagged one of the highest awards during the recent Excellence Awards within the force.

THE SAPS eThekweni District recently hosted its Annual Excellence Awards evening to reward members, reservists and CPF structures who displayed excellence, dedication and extraordinary commitment in the execution of their duties.

The eThekwini District Commissioner, Major General Makhosazana Victoria Kheswa, and various other distinguished guests attended the event.

At the awards, Reservist Constable Gregory Albert from SAPS Berea Station won the category of Reservist of the Year.

The Excellence Awards encourage, innovate and reinforce a culture of excellence within the organisation.

Reservist Constable Albert said, “I am really proud and humbled to be acknowledged and appreciated for the service I have given to the Berea community. It has been an honour to serve and protect my community.”
