THE June school holiday is something that the children really look forward to – a nice long break from early mornings, homework and routine.
Often, if activities aren’t planned, it means they may be left with not much to do but binge-watch series and finish a month’s worth of snacks in a few days!
Parents, fear not. With these fun events taking place over the holidays, that’s something you don’t need to worry about.
Biker boys and girls
Cornubia Mall’s annual Zoot n Scoot takes place at the mall on Saturday, July 8 from 08:00 to 10:00. The cost is R85 per person or R100 for late entries. Playtime
Discover the magical world of interactive entertainment at the Melissa & Doug Play Space situated at the East Coast Radio House and Garden Show at the Durban Exhibition Centre from July 1 to 9. Fun tour

Durban Walking Tours has a fun activity tour planned for the children on June 27 and 29.
The four-hour guided tour will take you and your little ones on a captivating journey through Durban’s most fascinating attractions, such as the Durban Botanical Gardens, a ride on the People Mover bus to the Durban Natural Science Museum, and the picturesque Point Canals for a boat ride. The tour entails 3km of slow walking and is perfect for children aged four and older.
