Tears of joy shed by Nando’s Grillers Challenge winners

The challenge picked four of the best grillers from each Nando’s branch in KwaZulu-Natal to prepare their signature-style Nando’s chicken.

IT was a day filled with good energy, dancing and rejoicing, fun, excitement and emotion at Nando’s Pixely Ka Seme in the Durban CBD on Wednesday, July 13, where the 2022 Regional Nando’s Grillers Challenge was hosted.

The challenge picked four of the best grillers from each Nando’s branch that the province has to offer and put them head to head in preparing their signature-style Nando’s chicken.

Throughout the day, there were games, karaoke, dancing and great food available for attendees as the judges rated each griller’s skills.

At the end of a long day of tasting close to 40 pieces of chicken from the best grillers that the province has to offer, the four finalists were chosen.
