UPDATE: Umbilo man still missing – kidnapping case opened

There has been no trace of the missing man since his disappearance on June 12.

IT’S been more than three weeks since Nicholas Fuller (35) went missing, and SAPS have opened a case of kidnapping. Fuller was last seen on Sunday, June 12.

SAPS spokesperson Constable Thenjiswa Ngcobo confirmed that a case of kidnapping has since been opened at Umbilo SAPS.

“His vehicle was recovered on June 15 at a shopping mall in Durban. We appeal to anyone who might have information on his whereabouts to contact the police at 031 203 2407 or the Crime Stop number at 08600 10111,” said Ngcobo.

Fuller was last seen in the Carrington Heights area driving a charcoal-grey Hyundai 120 at about 21:30. Renegades Search and Rescue has been circulating images of Fuller on social media for weeks. There has been no trace of the missing man.

Fuller is described as a 1.8m-tall man, of about 105kgs in weight, with short, brown hair. He has a left upper-arm tattoo – a band including a moon, stars, birds and a tree. He was wearing a red jersey, beige trousers and grey takkies when he disappeared.
