Teen succumbs to injuries after Friday’s N2 crash

A teenager, who was amongst the eight other people injured in the accident, has died after succumbing to injuries.

JUST after 20:00 on Friday evening, three people were killed in a horror crash that occurred on the N2 north-bound before spaghetti junction.

The crash claimed the lives of one man and two women who were entrapped in the wreckage of the SUV. A teenager, who was among the eight other people injured in the accident, has sadly passed away after succumbing to their injuries.

ALS Paramedics Medical Services, together with Life Response, were working tirelessly on the scene of the accident last night.

According to ALS Paramedics, an SUV, believed to be carrying an entire family, lost control and collided into the rear of a truck.

Traffic is still congested around the accident scene.

The events leading up to the accident are unknown, however, SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
