The Shongweni Farmers & Craft Market, in collaboration with Fig Trees Farm, will host a pop up market this Saturday from from 07:00 until 13:00. The market (at 57 Inanda Road, Hillcrest) will feature craft and deli traders. There is also a restaurant at Fig Trees Farm. Bring a picnic blanket and don’t forget the furkids-they are welcome at this pet-friendly event as long as they are on a leash. City Nature Challenge
Community members interested in taking part in the City Nature Challenge can join in the fun at Pigeon Valley Nature Reserve in Glenwood on Saturday, April 30 at 09:00. The aim of the challenge is to collect evidence of as many living species as possible. Participants will need a smartphone to take part. Music at the Lake
Music lovers who want to make the most of the Monday holiday, won’t want to miss Music at the Lake at Durban Botanic Gardens. The line up features international superstars GOLDFISH, back for one day in KwaZulu-Natal, who will be supported by Veranda Panda, Tanner Wareham and DJ Kevin Louw.
