“I had a discussion on Tuesday, March 15 with a contractor working at a block of flats in Glenwood. He was concerned about his workers drinking. The next day he told me that two of his workers, who come from Folweni, had died after drinking liquid from a container that had come from the block of flats. His understanding was that the liquid was methanol. Later it became clear that several people have died and others are still in Prince Mshiyeni hospital,” said Hemson.
