City joins Tsogo Sun Hotels beachfront clean-up

The clean-up will take place on Friday, February 18, from 14:00 to 17:00, and will include the participation of 10 beachfront hotels.

ETHEKWINI’S hospitality sector will join forces with Tsogo Sun Hotels to conduct a clean-up of the Durban beachfront while contributing to fundraising efforts for the Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa (CHOC).

The clean-up will take place on Friday, February 18, from 14:00 to 17:00, and will include the participation of 10 beachfront hotels.

Also forming part of the clean-up is the Flip Flop Friday initiative which will raise the much-needed funds for CHOC.

Hotel guests and staff will contribute by purchasing flip-flops for R10 to wear during the clean-up.

Participating hotels include Garden Court South Beach, The Edward, Garden Court Marine Parade, Southern Sun Elangeni and Maharani, Suncoast Towers and Sun Square Suncoast, The Beverly Hills, Garden Court uMhlanga, Cabana Beach Resort, and uMhlanga Sands Resort.
