Mayor calls for calm at Ward 101 by-elections

The by-elections come after ANC ward councillor candidate, Siyabonga Mkhize passed away last year.

THE eThekwini Municipality has called on Ward 101 residents to make their mark, and cast their vote at the polls in the municipal by-elections on Wednesday, February 2.

The by-elections comes after the death of ANC ward councillor candidate, Siyabonga Mkhize who was reportedly gunned down ahead of the November, Local Government Elections, last year.

eThekwini Mayor, Councillor Mxolisi Kaunda, has called on residents of ward 101 to go out in their numbers to exercise their democratic right to vote.
