Firefighters rush to free people from burning Durban building
Firefighters rushed to the scene to extinguishe the blaze.
FIREFGHTERS rushed to assist people out of a burning structure on Dr Pixley KaSame Street today, Friday, January 21.
Spokesperson for Emer-G-Med Paramedics, Kyle Van Reenen said firefighters are on the scene and are using a high-angle rescue system to assist.

“Reports are unconfirmed at this stage, but there are believed to be five people still inside the building, including a baby,” he said. “Smoke can be seen billowing from the building.”
A video circulating on social media showed several people trying to climb out of the building.
The blaze appears to have broken out on a high level floor of the building.
