Test drive gone wrong: Motorist smashes into Durban car dealership

A test drive ended in a crash at the dealership.

PARAMEDICS rushed to the scene of an accident on Pine Street in the Durban Central Business District today as a vehicle smashed into the shop front windows of a car dealership.

Spokesperson for Emer-G-Med paramedics, Kyle Van Reenan, said they were called to the scene just after 12:00.

“Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to a motor vehicle crash at a car dealership in the Durban CBD. Reports from the scene are that a customer accidentally drove a brand new vehicle through the shopfront windows,” he said.

“Luckily, no serious injuries were sustained on the scene,” concluded Van Reenen.
