City extends entries for Durban Tourism Awards

The awards seek to raise awareness of the value and importance of tourism in terms of local, provincial, and national economic growth.

TO ensure that all local tourism product owners have sufficient time to enter the first annual Durban Tourism Awards, entries have been extended to February 25.

The awards are scheduled to take place in May and the aim is to reward products that attract tourists to the city and contribute to job creation and economic growth.

The award categories include service excellence, meetings and exhibitions, sustainable development and a mayor’s award as well as categories for tour operators, emerging entrepreneurs, tour guides and upcoming filmmakers.

How to enter
