WINDERMERE school, Gordon Road Girls’ School (GRGS) welcomed its new principal, Dr Sheeren Saloojee, this week.
Saloojee, who holds a PhD in education, is the the14th principal appointed to GRGS. With 28 years of work experience in the Department of Education, Saloojee brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her new role.

“I believe it is our responsibility to work as a team to maintain and to continue to build a supportive and collaborative spirit at GRGS. Together, as a school, we will build on the traditions of the past and meet the challenges of the future in innovative and exciting ways,” she said.

“I do believe that, at GRGS, they are proactive in training teachers and aiding the girls to thrive in our exciting yet challenging world. Like any teacher or parent, I just want to see happy, flourishing girls,” said Saloojee.
