Man killed in Berea shooting

As the suspects opened fire, one man fled on foot while the other drove away.

SAPS are investigating a case of murder after a man was killed in a shooting incident at a shopping centre on King Dinuzulu Road at 18:15 on Sunday, January 16.

The man was reported to have stopped his vehicle outside a hair salon. It is then alleged he was approached by four suspects who shot at him.

Spokesperson for the Durban Central SAPS, Captain Muzi Maphumulo said there was a passenger in the vehicle when the four men opened fire.
