Durban man caught with drugs worth R120 000
The arrest was made by the SAPS provincial drug and firearm unit.
DURBAN police have nabbed a suspected drug dealer with drugs worth R120 000.
According to the provincial SAPS spokesperson, Colonel Thembeka Mbele, police arrested a 43-year-old man at the intersection of Athlone Drive and Masabalala Yengwa Road in Durban.

“Police received reports of illicit drug activities in the area where the arrest was made. The suspect was found in possession of three plastic containers containing heroin paste, three glass bottles of heroin paste, 11 stones of heroin, 30 syringes, and alcohol swabs,” said Mbele.

The suspect was charged with the possession of drugs as well as dealing in drugs. He will appear at the Durban Magistrate’s Court soon.
