Detectives call on community to help solve rape case

Detectives are searching for a man, believed to be a pastor, who was allegedly involved in a North Beach rape case.

THE Durban Central Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit has pleaded for assistance from the community to help solve a rape case.

It is alleged that a 23-year-old woman was raped when she attended a church service at North Beach in October 2020.

Despite the woman declining the suspect’s advances, it is alleged that she was summoned to his office again the following Sunday.
