Windermere library closes its doors

While the library closes in November, it may reopen next year.

BOOKWORMS have been warned that the municipal library in Windermere will close its doors this month.

This is according to the Windermere Centre, which shared the news on its Facebook page.

“It is with a heavy heart that we report that we have been informed that the municipal library will be closing its doors at the end of November,” said the centre.

The closure is not yet permanent.

“We are saddened by this as we love the educational safe haven that the library provides for our customers, but we remain hopeful that the library will be reopened again by the municipality in the future, and we promise to keep you informed,” said the centre.
