Harry Gwala netball team wins

The purpose of the games were to create relationships between employees from different organisations.

THE Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa’s netball team narrowly lost their friendly games to the Harry Gwala Municipality’s netball team recently.

Prasa played two friendlies against the municipality in football and netball at Berea Park.

The sports co-ordinator from the Harry Gwala Municipality, Musa Dlamini said the games were a way to forge a stronger bond between the two organisations.

“We wanted the workers to move away from the stress of the workplace and be together, outside. While we won the netball game 31 – 26, we narrowly lost the football game 3 – 1. It was a great day out for both teams and we hope to do this again next year. Next time we will invite the Prasa team to our municipality,” said Dlamini.
