Pop-up vaccination site opens at uShaka Marine World

According to uShaka Marine World's CEO, the vaccination site will be operational until Sunday, October 3 and is open from 09:00 to 16:00.

A TEMPORARY vaccination site, based at the uShaka Village Walk, opened its doors to the public on Wednesday, September 29.

According to uShaka Marine World’s CEO, Ndabo Khoza, the Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the South African tourism industry and has threatened the livelihoods of South Africans due to job losses and other economic challenges.

“Many have been infected and affected by Covid-19 in various ways,” explained Khoza.

He said that while there have been non-medicinal solutions to the pandemic, the vaccination option, introduced by the South African government, has given hope to many.

In addition, Khoza said the fight to combat Covid-19 still stands.

“As a community, we are still in a battle to ensure a safer Durban for all. It is our intent that we provide solutions that will put communities in a better place to fully experience unlimited fun over the approaching the festive season,” he added.
