SHOTS were fired during an armed robbery at a shopping centre in Windermere at about 13:00 on Friday, August 27.
Spokesperson for Emer-G-Med Paramedics, Kyle Van Reeneen said they responded to the scene.
“Reports from the scene allege that as a member of the public was exiting a banking facility, he was confronted by armed suspects. Two shots were fired as the suspects made off in an unknown direction. Luckily no injuries were reported,” said Van Reenen.

According to Van Reenen, SAPS were on the scene. Berea SAPS did not send their comment at the time this article was published.
