5km virtual challenge to promote unity among runners

Participating runners can choose their own location and route for the virtual challenge.

THE Run Your City (RYC) Series hosts the Stronger Together 5K Challenge on Saturday, July 31, between 05:00 and 22:00.

The race aims to promote unity with runners across South Africa.

Michael Meyer, managing director of Stillwater Sports and founder of the RYC Series said participating runners can choose their own location and route.

“The goal of the Stronger Together 5K Challenge is to remind runners that we are stronger together and that anything can be accomplished when we are united,” he said. Participants are encouraged to share their photos from their run on social media.

“Remember to capture and share your run, routes and photos to the RYC Series Club Page on Strava. Don’t forget to include #RunYourCity #StrongerTogether #RunPuma.
