POLICE are appealing for information on the whereabouts of 69-year-old Mathinya Sophonia Noka.
Noka’s daughter Irene, confirmed that her father is still missing. Irene said her dad, a retired police officer, was last seen in Mayville in the beginning of May at her aunt’s home.

Noka was last seen wearing denim jeans, a grey jersey, woollen beanie, long navy blue rain coat and sneakers.
“Please help me locate my dad. He has a mental health issue. I’m not if he knows who he is or where he comes from. He has been living with friends and family, but mostly on the streets. He could be anywhere. If you do see him, please contact me or the Cato Manor Police station. Dad, where ever you are, I hope you are safe. Please phone me or come home. May Almighty God protect you where ever you are. I love you,” said Irene.
