Pregnant municipal worker hit by vehicle in Durban CBD

It is believed the woman was conducting her road cleaning duties when the vehicle struck her.

A PREGNANT municipal worker sustained moderate injuries when she was hit by a vehicle in the Durban CBD this morning.
 
Spokesperson for Emer-G-Med Paramedics, Kyle Van Reenen said they were called to the scene on Anton Lembede (Smith) Street.
 
 
“Reports from the scene indicate that the female was conducting routine road cleaning when the vehicle struck her. She suffered moderate injury. She was treated and stabilised on scene, before being taken to a nearby hospital,” he said.
