Sydney Davies (90) and Norah Thornton (91) united as husband and wife at a unique special wedding ceremony at the old age home.
Speaking about the magical day when they first laid eyes on each other, Sydney said they met 10 years ago while playing tennis in the basement.
At the end of the game, they got into a lift up and they suddenly found themselves kissing.

“Kissing each other in the lift was the beginning of our love story and we have been close ever since. We were brought together by God. We believe that God has been with us all this time,” said Sydney.
Sydney has five children and Norah has one daughter who lives in Australia.
Receptionist at the Mothwa Haven old age home, Charity Ngcemu, said, “We had this wedding coming, because we knew from the first day how much they loved each other. Sydney would call everyday to check up on her while they were away from each other. I am very happy for them and we wish them all the best.”
