According to Joanne Groom from SDCEA said, “Our government and industries should realise the enormity of the use of fossil fuels and take a stand by moving to alternative energy such as wind, hydro or solar which would be cleaner options for our planet and our health.

” She added that this picket will create awareness about the importance of Earth Day and the impacts on our earth in relation to climate change, destroying our resources such as water, food, energy and life. “We ask that you all join us to fight for a cleaner and safer earth,” appealed Groom.
