Calling all women in business

This year's conference emphasises the importance of gaining space in the marketplace with authenticity.

THE annual Christian Women in Business Network (CWBN) Conference will take place virtually over 16 and 17 April.

Speaking about the event, Kea Modise-Moloto, CWBN director, said: “The theme for this year’s conference is: ‘Rise, let’s go from here’ and emphasises the importance of gaining our space in the marketplace with authenticity and boldly applying our skills, talents and passions, not to conform but to confidently change and own the marketplace.”

The CWB Network has gained a global footprint since the inception of lockdown and welcomes this international community following an unprecedented 2020. The 3rd annual conference aims to remind women that their business ideas, dreams, skills and talents are still valid in spite of 2020, Covid19 or lockdown.

“We will inspire, encourage and enlighten delegates, business and career women to face and take charge of the changing environment and marketplace,” added Kea.

Over and above developing and empowering women in business, the CWBN Conference also benefits the Bontlebame Girls of Hope Programme which focuses on the empowerment of teen girls from disadvantaged communities by providing mentorship and coaching with a special focus on entrepreneurship skills development and self-actualisation.

“We look forward to connecting with women from across South Africa and abroad to empower, support, network, encourage and inspire them towards flourishing spiritual and business lives,” concludes Kea.

Tickets are only R100 per day and are available via Quicket: https://bit.ly/2PKbWcA

The first hundred ladies who book will each receive a goodie bag, delivered to their door, valued at over R250.
