Weekly quiz goes live again

THE ever-popular weekly quiz nights with The Quiz Guys, Dave Wright and Hylton Forge, are once again live following lockdown.

The quiz nights, which have been running in Glenwood for the past five years, were forced to go online last year during lockdown, however Dave and Hylton are pleased to announce that they have gone back to hosting the events at local venues.

The quiz nights are held at Stella Sports Club every Wednesday from 7pm. Cost is R20 a head and funds go into a kitty as the quiz prize. Another event is held at La Bella in Stephen Dlamini Road, Musgrave, on a Thursday night from 7pm. Entry is free.

This is a fun night out, where participants are tested with a variety of general knowledge questions.

At Stella, there are six rounds of questions, and at La Bella, there are two rounds of questions, with the event running for two hours.

The men are also available to host events and team build quiz events. They are fully adaptable, and able to host quiz events focusing on any topic, from music and sport to questions based on specific countries.

To date they have hosted events at churches, for neighbourhood watch groups, at retirement homes and for corporates.

“We have been successfully hosting these quiz nights at Stella for five years, and if we can do this, we are doing something right,” said Dave.
