St John launches innovative first aid e-learning

St John is introducing an innovative 18-hour first aid blended learning course that combines the theoretical component of First Aid Level 1 with a classroom-based practical.

THE Order of St John in South Africa is transforming the first aid training sector.

The organisation is introducing an innovative 18-hour first aid blended learning course that combines the theoretical component of First Aid Level 1 with a classroom-based practical hosted at St John Training Centres across South Africa or at clients’ premises for groups of eight or more.

The e-learning covers the minimum standards and theoretical requirements for the Department of Employment and Labour Document C accreditation. On completion of the theory, the learner will have the opportunity to book an appointment at one of the St John Training Centres for the practical assessment.
St John South Africa offers First Aid and Lifesaving skills training, eye care, ambulance services, medical supplies and facilitates community initiatives.
