Greyhound has not yet divulged more information behind their closure.

“It has been our pleasure connecting you across Southern Africa for the past 37 years. Thank you to all our passengers for your continued support.”

Earlier this year, cross-border and inter-provincial bus owners held a protest in Durban against the government’s regulations to ban international and inter-provincial travelling as a way to mitigate the rising numbers of Covid-19 cases.

For assistance with receiving a refund, passengers can contact their call centre on 011 611 8000 or 087 352 0352 or email their ticket reference number and contact details to refunds@greyhound.co.za.
