Police seek relatives of child found dead near Blue Lagoon

On 24 December at about 3.20am, the body of a boy washed up onto the shore by the sea near Blue Lagoon.

DURBAN Central Police are appealing to the community for assistance in locating the relatives a child whose body was found on Christmas Eve. 

Sgt Zanele Khomo from Durban Central SAPS said it is alleged that on 24 December at about 3.20am, the body of a boy washed up onto the shore by the sea near Blue Lagoon.

“The body is of an African male aged around six years. The boy was certified dead by paramedics who attended the crime scene. The male had no clothes on and there were some bruises on the body,” said Khomo.
