Buy historic 2021 calendars, support Durban NPO
The public is encouraged to buy world-renowned artist, Dr Nanda Soobben’s 2021 calendars and support charity.
SUPPORT a great cause by purchasing world-renowned artist, Dr Nanda Soobben’s historic 2021 calendars.
You can purchase the calendars from various places including the Aryan Benevolent Home’s (ABH) headquarters at 80 Arena Park Drive, Chatsworth.
The ABH is currently selling the calendars for R100 each and proceeds raised from the home’s sales will benefit ABH residents.
Dr Soobben’s 1860 indenture themed calendar celebrates the ancestry of South African Indians.

The calendar is a collector’s item that commemorates the 160th anniversary of the arrival of Indians in South Africa in 1860 and features hand-painted portraits of iconic South Africans such as one of our country’s greatest footballers Dharam Mohan and the great golfer Papwa Sewgolum and many others.
The ABH is a long-standing non-profit organisation (NPO) that provides care and shelter to the aged and frail, victims of violence and abuse, children and the mentally and the physically challenged.
The 99-year-old NPO is reliant on the generosity of donors to keep their residents in good care.

The legacy of the 1860 Indian-origin indentured labourers needs to be remembered and the beautiful calendar serves as a reminder of our heritage.
