CROW wildlife calendar officially launched

The 10th CROW wildlife calendar is now officially on sale to the public.

THE Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife and Compass Cares recently launched the 10th wildlife calendar, which is now officially on sale to the public.

Compass Cares, the CSI division of Compass Medical Waste Services, spear-headed by managing director Ian Du Randt and his team, have produced wildlife calendars for CROW for 10 years, covering the cost of designing and printing them. This ensures that all profits from the calendar sales go straight back to CROW, helping the organisation stay operational and take care of thousands of wild animals each year.

CROW director, Clint Halkett-Siddall showcasing Mug the alligator as part of the interactive reptile show at the launch.

At the launch, director Clint Halkett-Siddall gave an informative talk to guests about the wildlife rehabilitation work undertaken at CROW and then showcased Mug the alligator and some of the tortoises taken care of at the centre.

The wildlife calendar is up for sale in three formats – an A2 size wall calendar (R200) a smaller A5 tent calendar (R100) and a CD-size desk calendar (R50). Drawing inspiration from the sumptuous colours of the African landscapes, the 2021 calendar is filled with high-resolution wildlife photographs donated by wildlife photographer Marc and Stella de Chalain from The Storehouse. Craftfully designed by Brendan Bromfield, the 2021 calendar is bold, vibrant and sure to stand out on any wall it adorns.

If anyone would like to buy the calendar, email: info@crowkzn.co.za to place an order.
