Support Robin Hood Foundation’s Bless-a-Granny and Grandpa project

For many elderly folk, this is the only gift they will receive this year.

THE Robin Hood Foundation is encouraging the public to support its annual Bless-a-Granny and Grandpa project this year.

The Covid-19 pandemic has taken its toll on everyone, but especially the elderly.

They have been hit hard, not just from a health perspective, but many have also suffered without visits from friends, family, or fun and excitement to break their mundane routines, also unable to understand the reason for this isolation.

Due to Covid regulations, the Robin Hood Foundation will not be able to host their annual parties at the old age homes this year, but a pandemic will not put a stop to the much-needed joy and relief that the Bless-a-Granny gifts provide to these folk.

Robin Hood will still be distributing wish lists and asking the public to commit to purchasing the items on these lists, and spending between R200 to R225 per person.
For many elderly folk, this is the only gift they will receive this year.

In 2020, which has been a challenging year in so many ways, Robin Hood doesn’t want to disappoint these senior citizens who have not experienced much joy this year. So the community is urged support this initiative that aims to bless hundreds of elderly folk this festive season.
