Housebreakers arrested, stolen property recovered in Umbilo

The case of housebreaking business was registered at Umbilo SAPS following a break-in at a factory in Umbilo Road on 20 October.

UMBILO SAPS arrested two men in connection with a break-in to a factory in Umbilo on Tuesday, 20 October.

According to Capt Pumzile Makaula from Umbilo SAPS, a case of housebreaking business was registered at Umbilo SAPS following a break-in at a factory in Umbilo Road on 20 October.

“The Umbilo Task Team and Crime Prevention Unit conducted an investigation and through information, did a search at Dalton Hostel. The members arrested two men in possession of some of the stolen items,” said Makaula.

She said the suspects will be profiled and investigations are continuing to link other suspects to the case.
