THE community is encouraged to attend special meetings this month, where sector forums for the area will be elected.
The Umbilo sector one meeting will be at Berea Bowling Club, 175 Ferguson Road, Glenwood, on Saturday, 24 October at 3pm. Residents living in the sector, which is bounded by Alan Paton Road (south), King Dinizulu Road (north), the southern freeway (east), and Mazisi Kunene Road (west) are urged to attend to elect the sector forum to represent the sector one community.

Commenting on the meetings, station commander, Col Teddy Munusamy, said: “It is imperative that the community we protect and serve works together in partnership with the South African Police Service and role-players, in order to create a safe and secure environment for all residents and visitors.”
Residents are urged to take along their ID books and proof of residence.
