Woman (19) raped in Durban, two men wanted

Assistance is being sought by the Point FCS Unit in connection with the incident on 16 August.

POINT Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit is appealing to the community for assistance regarding a case of rape it is investigating.

According to Sgt Zanele Khomo from Durban Central SAPS, it is alleged that on 16 August at around 4pm, a girl, (19), was waiting for her friend in Mahatma Gandhi (Point) Road when she was approached by two unknown men.

“They took her to an unknown flat and both men raped her. Police believe the man they have an identikit of can be of assistance in solving the case,” said Khomo.

Police believe this man can assist in solving the case.
