Attend sector two meeting

THE community is encouraged to attend a special meeting this month, where the sector forum for the area will be elected.

Umbilo sector two meeting will be at Glenwood Presbyterian Church, 339 Esther Roberts Road, Glenwood on Saturday, 17 October at 3pm.
Boundaries of Sector 2 are Rick Turner Avenue (south), Alan Paton Road (north), the southern freeway/Sydney Road (east) and Mazisi Kunene Road (west).

Commenting on the meetings, station commander, Col Teddy Munusamy, said: “It is imperative that the community we protect and serve works together in partnership with the South African Police Service and role-players, in order to create a safe and secure environment for all residents and visitors.”

Residents are urged to take along their ID books and proof of residence.
