MAYVILLE South African Police Service (SAPS) recently arrested a suspected thief in Morningside
It is believed the suspect gained entry to the Chapel Street property by cutting the electric fence.
Armed response officers Prince Mbhele and Lindelani Zikhaliwere were called to the scene after a garage beam was activated, said Fidelity ADT’s district manager for KwaZulu-Natal, Vaughan Pillay.

The officers quickly spotted the suspect and gave chase when he tried to flee, said Pillay.
“The suspect was successfully apprehended and handed over for arrest to members of Mayville SAPS.”
