New Covid-19 Drive Through testing site set up in Collegians Bowling Club

Patients do not require a doctor's referral or an appointment to have a Covid-19 test done at the site.

A NEW Covid-19 testing drive through site has been set up at the Collegians Bowling Club, 10 Stiebel Place, Stamford Hill. Results in 24 Hours

Fully Registered and equipped covid-19 nurses. The site is open from 8:30am to 4.30pm, seven days a week. The testing site is running as a joint initiative between the Collegians Bowling Club and Medisup who conduct the tests and send them to local laboratory for testing. Both swab and rapid testing is done at this site.

“Patients can drive through to the back of the property. They will need to stay in their vehicle at all times. At no time should they leave their vehicle. They should bring a bottle of sanitiser and keep their masks on. If a driver is travelling with a potential Covid-19 patient they should drive with windows open. It is recommended that those testing for Covid-19 drive alone or if they are a minor or unfit to drive, that they sit in the back seat of the car. They will get results via sms and they will receive a telephone call- generally by the next day,” she said.

“We liaise directly with a doctor. Often people who think they have been in contact with a Covid-19 case are dealing with fear. It helps people when they are panicking that it is all taken care of behind the scenes,” she said.

The test is all done in the vehicle and all safety protocols are observed. We have also have a ‘’WE COME TO YOU’’ option for those who would like us to come to your home and do the test.Cash or Card is accepted. Clients are able to claim it with the Meical Aid provider; Pensioner will receive a R50 discount if they can produce their pensioner cards. Receipt is given for the covid test.
