VOLUNTEERS are needed to join the Bulwer Safety and Urban Regeneration Forum (BSURF) patrol team.

The team works very closely with SAPS, Metro Police, Umbilo CPF, and all security companies.
Become empowered as you learn how to become more alert and aware on what’s going on around you in your community and learn how to react in an emergency.
“You will never be expected to put your life in danger. We are the eyes and ears for the police, Metro and security companies,” said Heather Roos from BSURF.
BSURF is also looking for those with vehicles to help with patrols. If enough people are brought on board, members will then only be required to do one or two patrols a week.
