Enter photo competition to celebrate World Oceans’ Day

SAAMBR will post its favourite photos on its Instagram stories on World Oceans Day on 8 June.

THE South African Association for Marine Biological Research (SAAMBR) will celebrate World Oceans’ Day digitally this year and is encouraging the community to get involved by entering an Instagram photo challenge.

The photo theme is What the ocean means to me and participants are invited to share their favourite ocean photo, which must be their own photo, with a short explanation of the photo saying what the ocean means to them in the comment section.

SAAMBR will post its favourite photos on its Instagram stories on World Oceans Day on 8 June.

Go to Instagram and follow SA_Marine_Biological_Research.

Post your photo and caption using #SaambrWOD2020, tag @SA_Marine_Biological_Research so your images can be found. Photos must be shared directly on your Instagram feed, not as a story post or DM to SAAMBR.

You can enter as many photos as you like, but the photo must be shared with SAAMBR on 8 June.

SAAMBR reserves the right to share your image if chosen as a favourite on its Instagram and Facebook profile.
